Overall Purpose<5c pan=""><5c pan=""><5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

The Incoming Quality Auditor inspects parts being received by the customer, using proper inspection techniques and equipment. This task is also performed accurately, efficiently and in a professional manner.<5c pan=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

Responsibilities<5c pan=""><5c pan=""><5c 1="">\n

Client Relationship & Business Development<5c pan=""><5c 2="">\n

  • Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n

    Operations<5c trong=""><5c pan=""><5c>\n

      \n
    • Inspect or perform audits on incoming material, using measuring and gauging tools and visual techniques in determining conformance to engineering specifications<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Determine the method(s) and process(es) needed to measure part conformance, according to the allowed dimensional tolerances and normal gauging practices<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Document and report non-conformances to specifications using computerized quality documentation system<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Contain non-conforming parts and materials<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Sort and rework non-conforming parts and material<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Prioritize the order of short-quantity loads, and manage FIFO flow of received goods<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Complete other duties and\/or responsibilities as assigned<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Demonstrated ability in handling and maintaining precision measuring tools, equipment, and gauges<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Perform visual inspection of painted surfaces, surface defects, cleanliness and packaging<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Operating-level proficiency using computer software programs<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Able to unpack and repackage incoming materials safely and as instructed<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Operating-level knowledge of material handling equipment - pallet jacks and hoists<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Perform visual inspection of various types of welds<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n
    • Other duties and\/or responsibilities as assigned<5c pan=""><5c i="">\n<5c l="">\n
