Position responsibilities include teaching as assigned by the Director, advising and mentoring students, institutional and community service, research or other scholarly activity appropriate for a non-tenure track position. The entry-level occupational therapy master’s degree program has applied for accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). The program’s design is intended to maximize accessibility to students and will be offered in a low residency hybrid format. To be hired as an Assistant Clinical Practice Professor, a candidate must have (1) a Master’s degree or above in Occupational Therapy (2) a doctorate (PhD or clinical doctorate) in a related field (3) a minimum of three years of clinical practice experience, and (4) demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, service and scholarly work. Preferred Qualifications In addition to experience in clinical practice, it is preferred that candidates also possess at least one to two years’ experience teaching in a Masters or Doctoral Occupational Therapy program; experience in curricular assessment; and a record of scholarly productivity in clinical or pedagogical research.
