As a Security Guard - Full Time in Elk Grove Village, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an unarmed patrol professional, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe people entering and leaving the location, following post instructions for visitor processing, badge verification, and/or reporting irregular activity.
• Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and/or noteworthy conditions observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
