The Kane County Cougars are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and kid-friendly individuals to join the team as Kid Zone Attendants. This position plays an important role in creating a fun and safe environment for families and young fans during Cougars home games.
The Kid Zone, located in the right-field area of Northwestern Medicine Field, features inflatables, games, and interactive activities. Attendants are responsible for supervising attractions, assisting guests, and ensuring a clean, welcoming space throughout the game.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Supervise and operate Kid Zone attractions such as inflatable slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses, and sports games.
Interact positively with children and families to ensure a fun and memorable experience.
Ensure all activities are conducted safely, enforcing park rules and attraction guidelines.
Assist in setting up and breaking down attractions before and after games.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kid Zone area throughout the event.
Help distribute wristbands and manage ticketing for Kid Zone access.
Communicate with Promotions & Guest Services staff regarding any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must enjoy working with children and interacting with families.
Friendly, responsible, and attentive with a strong customer service mindset.
Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Comfortable enforcing safety guidelines in a kind and professional manner.
Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or lift weight no greater than 30 lbs.
Required to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.
