Primary responsibility of the Demand Planner is to analyze inventory levels on assigned accounts and or commodity item groups, make purchases to sustain demand, achieve a goal of 97.5% fill rate and provide support to their assigned Inventory Management Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Account management/Commodity Management &- low to medium level of difficulty
  • Assist in analyzing inventory levels to forecast needs
  • Executes forecast changes
  • Issue POs manually and via AWR
  • Generate and maintain run out reports and open PO reports
  • Maintain AWR
  • Review and follow-up on daily and weekly reports
  • Follow up on open purchase orders
  • Expedite purchase orders as needed
  • Assist Supervisor in Managing turns and review of aged inventory
  • Coordinate New Store Programs
  • PPV maintenance
  • Investigate and resolve A/P issues
  • Research receiving and packaging discrepancies and proactively resolve issues
  • Process returns to vendors; process inventory write off paperwork for the team
  • Identify cost changes and work with the Supervisor to execute

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Demand Planner highly preferred
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Excellent computer, organizational and communication skills.
  • PC proficiency including strong Excel is required; AWR is a plus.
  • Must be service driven and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will need to certify in E3 at Level I and II
  • Travel required &- Minimal

Compensation: Salary Range $55K - $65K annual depending upon education and experience with up to a 10% bonus opportunity.
