Silver Cross Hospital is hosting a job fair to recruit candidates for our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions.
Join us on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, located at 1900 Silver Cross Boulevard, New Lenox, Illinois.

Position Summary
Silver Cross Hospital is seeking compassionate, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our patient-centered care teams. CNAs play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality, respectful, and safe care throughout their stay. This role is ideal for newly certified CNAs, experienced professionals, and individuals eager to grow within a respected healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and record vital signs; promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support patient comfort, mobility, and safety
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused care
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient privacy guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification
- Current CPR certification
- Effective communication and people skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Work Shift Details:
Various, We are hiring full-time and part-time CNAs for both day and night shifts in the following areas:Medical-Surgical
Telemetry
Observation Unit
Neurology
Oncology
Inpatient Surgical Post-Op
Compensation
The pay range for the Certified Nursing Assistant role is $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. The final offered rate may exceed the posted range based on factors such as certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
