A Brief Overview:
As the Programmer Analyst III at Endeavor Health, you will be the expert resource responsible for assisting in specific areas of IT including full life cycle management, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance of technology solutions and platforms. In addition, you will contribute toward identifying opportunities with the goal of reducing manual efforts, supporting the growth of the organization, promoting patient and user experience, and helping create innovative solutions with operations. You will help foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, promote the consistent use of available tools, techniques, workflows, and platforms, and perform administrative tasks as assigned. The role also assists in mentoring and training other department members in understanding business models and issues, and provides leadership and mentorship to the team, guiding junior analysts in best practices, problem-solving techniques, and professional development. To be successful in this role, the expectation is you will remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices.
What you will do:
- Serve as the most senior technical resource on the team and provide support for the manager in leadership and mentorship of team.
- Serve as the most senior technical advisor to Design, Develop and implement strategic initiaitves and maintenance of solution architecture and development/programming/build standards
- Monitor and manage the timely resolution/closure of assigned tickets both individually and for the team.
- Design and develop complex solutions using relevant tools and techniques.
- Develop and present roadmaps and strategies to senior management.
- Lead medium/large sized projects following PMO defined processes including the identification and prioritization of work for the team.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Partner with senior stakeholders to provide guidance and recommendations
- Stay at the forefront of the relevant technologies and share knowledge with the organization and represent the organization at industry events and conferences
- Contribute to the development of industry standards and best practices for the team
- Advocate for the use of solutions and best practices for the team.
- Bachelors Degree Computer and Information Science Required Or
- Masters Degree Computer and Information Science Preferred
- 7 Years Seven (7) or more years of experience in Software Development Or
- 5 Years Five (5) or more years healthcare IT operations experience And
- 10 Years Twelve (12) or more years of experience in Software Development
- Able to communicate with operational/senior leadership with no direction or coaching.
- Promotes effect written and verbal communication among peers across the organization and executive leadership.
- Serves as a key point person for technical and operational leadership for problem resolution and project management.
- Expert knowledge of programming languages, procedures, utilities, and operating systems in relevant technologies.
- Able to provide technical leadership, guidance, and coaching with little to no supervision.
- Utilizes effective analytical and troubleshooting skills with no assistance at an expert level.
- Continually seeks to utilize technology in order to improve systems and procedures/processes.
- Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.
